As you know I love schnitzel and in my household it’s served for dinner once a week. So I’m going to have some fun in the kitchen and keep on trying different versions. Today I’m making a steak schnitzel — watch me cook the recipe here.

I’m using a simple club steak and I pound it into to a thin piece. I also like to add a generous amount of coarsely ground black peppercorns to the breading it’s a great flavor combo with the beef. As the schnitzel is shallow fried, it gets beautifully crispy on the outside and juicy inside. I love to serve it with a fresh mound of peppery arugula and lemon juice. Continue reading for the recipe below.

And if you missed it, so far I’ve made a classic chicken schnitzel, eggplant schnitzel, and kataifi schnitzel. Let me know if there’s any version you’d like me to try!

Yours,

Arielle
