Today I’m sharing my tried and true challah recipe. It’s classic and quite easy. I place all the ingredients into a mixer at the same time to form the dough. I also use olive oil and eggs in the recipe to make the dough rich, smooth, and easy to work with.

For shaping the challah dough, I like to stick to a simple three-strand braid and then I play around with the shapes and forms to create something special. Today, I’m making a round challah for Rosh Hashanah as well as a playful wavy challah.
